Definitely not how the Lakers expected it, they won their final games of the season. Unfortunately, the Lakers were already eliminated from postseason contention. Along with that, LeBron James sat out the remaining games.
Austin Reaves has been one bright spot for the Lakers. This year, Austin Reaves has come into his own, as a role player. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis out, Austin Reaves had to take on a bigger role for the team. During the Nuggets game, which marked the end of the season, Austin Reaves had a big game. Reaves tried to dunk on Jeff Green and he ended the season in style.
With the game on the line, Austin Reaves had the ball. The game was of no consequence to the Denver Nuggets. Already, the Nuggets settled in for the sixth seed, so they will play the Golden State Warriors in the first round. So, the game was on the line, and Austin Reaves hit the game winning shot. This left both Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis speechless.
