Last night, Brian McKnight Jr took to social media to call out his father, legendary R&B artist Brian McKnight. He said that his father abandoned him and his siblings and tried to be the bigger person but it was simply time to address what his father’s been doing.
McKnight Sr is know addressing the accusations and is shutting all of his son’s comments down by expressing his disappointment. He feels that his son is a bit jealous of him being proud of his other son Jack and also showing his own family love. McKnight Sr added that he’s been there for his children every step of the way for the past 30 years. He made the point that he’s always paid child support and always gave them advice whether they took it or not.
Both sons are 30 and 27 and feels like they need to step up on their own now. McKnight Sr thinks his son might want everything now because he tried to give him everything he never had. He gave his songs apartments with everything paid for for two years. He added that they need to work during that span and neither sons did anything at the end of that.
McKnight Sr definitely has solid points. He did everything he could to put his son in the best position but it seems that he simply didn’t want to grind for what he wanted. Check out McKnight Sr addressing his son below.
