Brooklyn Nets vs. Orlando Magic (FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS) | March 15, 2022 [VIDEO]
Brooklyn Nets score 150 points in blowout game against Orlando Magic
The Brooklyn Nets were supposed to be the NBA’s best team this year. In the regular season, the Nets were a lock for 60 wins, at least. Anything less than a championship was going to be a bust for the Nets, who have only won more than 50 games one time. Yesterday, the NBA pundits declared the Brooklyn Nets dead. Last year, the Nets formed a “Big 3” that was one of the most dangerous trios in the league. A month ago, they traded that third man, James Harden, for Ben Simmons.
In many ways, the media has tried comparing the Nets to the Lakers. Out West, they have said LeBron James and Anthony Davis aren’t enough to carry a team. In the East, critics have said Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are not enough to win a playoff series, especially with Kyrie only playing road games. But when Kyrie Irving is playing how he was last night, it spells trouble. Kyrie Irving has been portrayed as the villain of the season. All of this stems from him not getting vaccinated. Of all people, LeBron James came to Kyrie’s defense over the vaccination rules.
Last night, Kyrie Irving set a Nets franchise record for points in a game. Kyrie Irving scored 60 points and the Nets cruised to victory. It wasn’t even the fact that the Nets won by 42 points, over the Orlando Magic. Even this being a road game for the Nets wasn’t the bad part. The bad part was the Orlando Magic giving up 150 points at home to the Brooklyn Nets. By the way, the Nets look like they are for real out here.
