As a result, that became a viral moment on social media, as many debated if Cardi was right or wrong in this situation.

Meanwhile, according to TMZ, Cardi could face some legal repercussions. She is now listed as a suspect in a battery case. This comes after the woman who was hit by the microphone reported to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Another woman was also hit by the microphone, but it’s unknown if that was who spoke with police.

Furthermore, it’s since been revealed that Cardi wanted someone to throw water on her to help cool her down in the very hot Las Vegas weather, but it seems that she didn’t mean it literally. Her DJ initially asked the crowd to throw some water as well.

This incident comes after Cardi appeared on her husband Offset’s new “Jealousy” single, last week. Offset initially hinted at this new collaboration by spoofing a 1988 James Brown CNN interview, as he was joined by legendary actress Jamie Lee Curtis.
