Chris Paul has done everything a NBA player can do, except win an NBA championship. Last year, Chris Paul made his NBA Finals debut, during his sixteenth season. With that, Chris Paul made NBA history, once again. Chris Paul has a reputation of going to teams, making them better, and leading them to their best season in franchise history. The only place Chris Paul did not do this was with the Thunder, but he made up for it by leading the Clippers to multiple franchise best seasons.

Chris Paul is no longer the young and exciting player. Instead, Chris Paul is one of the oldest players in the NBA. It is almost jarring to hear Devin Booker speak about watching Chris Paul play when he was five years old. Now, Devin Booker and Chris Paul are teammates, leading the Phoenix Suns to the most dangerous backcourt in the NBA. With Chris Paul playing in year seventeen, he and Booker led the Suns to the NBA’s best record and a franchise record.

Chris Paul and Devin Booker are really showing how good they are together. Against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Suns struggled when Devin Booker went down with injury. Even when Devin Booker played hurt, he led the Suns to the closeout win. With Devin Booker fully healthy, he and Chris Paul are too much for the Mavericks, so far. Towards the end of the game, Chris Paul drew an and-1 on Luka Donic, and he put the Mavs on notice, staring their entire bench down, including Jason Kidd.
