Cleveland Cavaliers throttle Milwaukee Bucks; Can LeBron lead team to NBA Finals?

CavsdefeatbucksigFollowing the 2014 NBA Finals, LeBron James was a free agent and people wondered what he’d do. Safe to say, most assumed LeBron would choose to remain with the Miami Heat. But, a great deal of people also believed LeBron James would return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Ultimately, LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who also acquired Kevin Love. Together with future superstar, Kyrie Irving, a new “big three” was formed. However, through 39 games, the team struggled and was only 19-20.

Since January 15, however, LeBron James has led Cleveland to a 25-6 record. Now, suddenly, Cleveland holds the second seed in the Eastern Conference, behind only the Atlanta Hawks, who have dominated the league for most of the season, until recently. While Atlanta is in no danger of losing first place, having just won the Southeast Division, can they take the East?

Teams with LeBron James on the roster have made the NBA Finals for four consecutive seasons. With Cleveland, a much more talented team, now finding their stride, they can easily get to the Eastern Conference Finals. Yesterday, they played the Milwaukee Bucks and ended up running away with the game. This is a preview of what they can do to their first round playoffs rival, so can Cleveland do this throughout the playoffs and get to the NBA Finals.

If Cleveland gets to the NBA Finals, it’ll be their first appearance in eight years.
