DeAndre Bembry injures his knee and gets carried out of Warriors’ game
Just four weeks ago, the Milwaukee Bucks signed DeAndre Bembry to round their roster out. Last night, the Bucks played the Golden State Warriors, which was a real test. With everything going on, this season, it’s easy to overlook the Bucks as the defending NBA champions. Even in the East, Milwaukee has not established themselves as the clear cut favorites. The Miami Heat have done that, instead.
This season, several NBA teams put the league on notice. After two seasons out of the spotlight, the Golden State Warriors are out to prove they’re not too old to keep contending. The Phoenix Suns are out to prove that last season was no fluke. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are out to prove last season was indeed a fluke. Finally, there’s Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies doing more showing than telling.
The Milwaukee Bucks considered last night a statement game. Despite having a winning record, the Bucks have been criticized for not doing more. Currently, they are on pace for a 50-32 record, if that, meanwhile the Warriors look like a 56-26 team, though a lot can change. Last night, the Warriors were blowing the Bucks out. When DeAndre Bembry went to close Jordan Poole out, he fell into him while he was shooting, and then hurt his knee.
