Hip hop in New York City is new and exciting because there are so many new artists to root for. This can be viewed as a blessing and a curse because there are so many artists doing their thing, it is easy to forget some of them. But, Artists to Know is here to serve as a quick reminder for those who have overlooked some.

Biggg Slim is bringing New York hip hop back to its roots, with most of his lyrics being spouted out on soulful beats. His stock is definitely rising, as Biggg Slim has collaborations with many big names. Uncle Murda and Chinx Drugz are only a couple of the artists who have worked with Biggg Slim, with Waka Flocka Flame serving as a third.

Other artists Biggg Slim has worked with includes Young Money’s Cory Gunz. With his buzz high and still picking up and the major collaborations under his belt, Biggg Slim could easily be the next big rapper out of New York City. Those who did not know about Biggg Slim beforehand can take this moment to get familiar.
