In his career, DJ Khaled has accomplished much more than most would expect. Yes, the DJs are the backbone of hip hop, but the current era is more geared towards the artist being the star. DJ Khaled took it back old school, though, taking the front seat and making stars.
DJ Khaled was instrumental in helping Lil Wayne and Rick Ross take over the game. Not only that, but Khaled also helped Trick Daddy log some extra years in the spotlight. If not for Khaled, Trick Daddy likely would not have had verses on hit singles, in 2008.
For his efforts, DJ Khaled is going to be awarded with his own star, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yesterday, Khaled shared the video of him learning the news. Elated isn’t the word to fully describe how happy Khaled was, as he ran through his house, shouting in celebration of the news.
