The ongoing drama with Lil Wayne and Birdman has made for good gossip, but it’s really unfortunate. When these two were good, they were great and they made classic music. By 2006, Cash Money Records was all but done and Hurricane Katrina almost destroyed New Orleans.
Forced to relocate to Miami, Cash Money Records received new life and then Lil Wayne took over. First came Like Father, Like Son, the joint album with Lil Wayne and Birdman. The first single, “Stuntin Like My Daddy” is an unforgettable classic.
Given everything going on with them and the revelation of how Like Father, Like Son came together, it made sense to reflect back to happier times. So, with this week’s Wednesday Throwback, the choice was made to reflect on Lil Wayne and Birdman. With that, “Stuntin Like My Daddy” is the Wednesday Throwback for this week.
