There are a lot of questions about Ray J right now, because of how he’s been acting on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” This led to a major backlash from fans, who have started calling him Brandy’s brother and Kim Kardashian’s ex. Honestly, it’s not looking good for Ray J right now, but he did have hits back in the day.
Ray J reached the peak of his career with Raydiation and the album included the breakout hit single, “One Wish,” released in the fall of 2005. It’s weird to say “One Wish” came out nine years ago, but it did. During this period, Ray J established himself outside of Brandy and Kim Kardashian was a relative unknown.
Given all the headlines about Ray J, Hip Hop Vibe decided to take it back to happier times with him. When he released “One Wish,” Ray J was on top of the world. Because of this, the classic single, “One Wish,” is the latest Wednesday Throwback and it’s one the fans should enjoy.
