DJ YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback: Teairra Mari – “Make Her Feel Good”

Because of all the attention “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” is getting, we decided to dedicate the Wednesday Throwbacks to a couple of people on the show. Ever since the first episode, Teairra Mari was presented as the main vixen of the show. A recurring insult aimed at her is that she hasn’t had a hit in years.

To provide some insight, Teairra Mari is a native of Detroit and she was signed by Jay-Z in 2005 to Roc-A-Fella Records. She released her self-titled debut album and enjoyed a big hit with “Make Her Feel Good.” But, Teairra Mari ended up ultimately not doing the type of numbers as projected and her deal with Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam was over.

But, Teairra Mari is definitely talented and she knows how to make hit records. The proof of this came in 2005, when “Make Her Feel Good” became a hit single. So, for the Wednesday Throwback for this week, the spotlight is on “Make Her Feel Good,” the debut single from Teairra Mari.
