The sixteenth anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s death is on Sunday. In honor of this, Chox-Mak will be performing in New York City. It also was only right to do this week’s tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., a visionary wise beyond his short years.

Before The Notorious B.I.G. died, he had the opportunity to live out his dreams when he signed to Bad Boy Records. Puff Daddy believed in him and helped him put Ready to Die together. Biggie introduced the album with the “Juicy” single, which sampled Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit.”

All about dreams coming true, The Notorious B.I.G. lived the life when he did live and the world is still mourning his death. The Notorious B.I.G. lives on through his music and inspires people in all walks of life, look at the media as an example. This week’s Wednesday Throwback is dedicated to the man, Christopher George Latore Wallace, born on May 21, 1972, died on March 9, 1997.
