Earlier this year, Usher released “Good Kisser,” as he prepares his new album. This new music shows just how long Usher has been in the game. With his yet-to-be-titled album on the way, Usher is celebrating twenty years in the game and this will be his eighth album.
In 1997, Usher proved he could be a star in the game with his My Way album, which was led by the “You Make Me Wanna” single. This single took Usher from a relatively unknown talent to the man the world knows today. His mainstream stardom started right here.
Usher dropped this single at the end of the summer of 1997 and ended up peaking at number two on Billboard. “You Make Me Wanna” turns seventeen years old this year, time has flown by. But, Usher is still getting it in and this is the reason his first breakout hit is Hip Hop Vibe’s latest Wednesday Throwback.
