Doin’ Work: Kobe Bryant’s Top NBA All-Star Weekend moments #NBAAllStarTO [VIDEOS]

Kobe Bryant 2016 NBA All-StarWhen talking about the all-time greats in NBA history, Kobe Bryant’s name has to be mentioned. There are the five championships, which came during a three-peat and a back-to-back. Actually, Kobe Bryant is the last player in the NBA to play on a team that won three straight.

Outside of the championships, Kobe Bryant scored the second-most points in an NBA game, 81. Doing all of this, Kobe Bryant is even an MVP and a two time NBA Finals MVP. Along the way, Kobe Bryant helped make players such as Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol more known.

Kobe Bryant has been on a consistent decline since 2013, when he suffered an eventual career-ending injury. While he overcame the injury, his age would not allow him to be the same player. Still, Kobe Bryant did enough before 2013 to go down as an all-time great and “the greatest Laker of all-time,” according to former teammate/rival, Shaquille O’Neal.

Tonight, Kobe Bryant played as an NBA All-Star for the last time and now only has two more months of basketball before he is done for good. Due to their record, the Los Angeles Lakers are already virtually eliminated from the playoffs and are currently not contending for a spot. Still, what Kobe Bryant brought to the franchise in his earlier years was good enough, five championships and three 60 plus win seasons.

There is so much that can be said about Kobe Bryant and his storied career, but this article is only about his top moments as an NBA All-Star, seeing how tonight was his last time doing it.
