Don Q returns to the scene with Bulletproof video
In 2016, Highbridge The Label made themselves known. That summer, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie emerged, and he locked down his lane. Later in the year, Don Q debuted and he came close to stealing the whole show. At one point, his buzz was just as big as A Boogie’s. But, in 2019, A Boogie scored a commercial hit, while Don Q was seemingly off the scene.
Don Q did take an intentional step back and he returned in 2021. When he did, Don Q came with a consistency that he didn’t have during his first run. Just like before, Don Q saw his momentum swell, and he is making the most of it. Last year, Don Q closed things with the release of his Double or Nothing album. With much fanfare, Don Q dropped his last project.
After his 2021 run, Don Q earned some time off, so he took that time. This afternoon, Don Q returned with his newest single and visual, for the people. He has returned to deliver the music video for “Bulletproof,” which is out now. Don Q has returned with the first new music release of 2022 and there’s definitely more coming.
