Draymond Green is the player that opposing fans love to hate. When it comes down to it, Draymond makes it his priority to torture the other team’s best players. Against the Boston Celtics, Draymond Green did all he could to disrupt them. After the Celtics won Game 1, Draymond Green had a look on his face like he knew how to handle Boston after that. While the Warriors would fall behind 2-1, they would go onto win the series, and the title.
Draymond Green often puts a lot of blame on himself for the Warriors’ shortcomings. For the 2016 upset loss, Draymond Green blames himself. Firstly, Draymond Green said he made the team focus on winning 73 games, which was the first problem. Secondly, Draymond Green blamed his actions in Game 4 of the Finals on the Warriors losing. Finally, Draymond Green said when he came back, he was not himself, so the Warriors did not play how they normally play.

Kevin Durant signed with the Nets, as Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry missed the season, due to injuries. All alone, Draymond Green led the Warriors to the NBA’s worst record. Last season, they lost to Memphis in the play-in. As a result, the Warriors were focused in 2022. The Boston crowd already dislikes Draymond, so they booed him for his pass to Klay.
