Draymond Green almost fights Grant Williams after he pushes him to the ground | Warriors at Celtics | Game 3 | 2022 NBA Finals [VIDEO]

Draymond Green elbows Grant Williams after he knocked him down

Draymond Green took it upon himself to be the Golden State Warriors’ enforcer. While Stephen Curry is the Warriors’ best player, Draymond Green is the engine. When Stephen Curry did his interview with Draymond Green, he spoke on this. Curry noted how his early seasons with the Warriors ended with him not making the playoffs. With that being said, Curry pointed out how the Warriors never missed the playoffs, after Draymond Green joined the team.

Draymond Green never knew what it was like to experience true struggle. Before the previous two seasons, Draymond Green never missed the playoffs. Furthermore, Draymond Green only had two postseason losses that were not in the NBA Finals. With all of Green’s postseason success, he only lost in the first round one time. But Draymond Green got used to the struggle in 2020, when the depleted Warriors became the NBA’s worst team. They were without Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors stayed together, in spite of that. The team’s core has remained intact. However, the other roles have shifted, as Andrew Wiggins has replaced Kevin Durant. A lot of the secondary roles have been filled by Gary Payton II and Jordan Poole. This new look Warriors’ squad is back in the NBA Finals. This time, they are facing Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s Boston Celtics. Needing a spark, Draymond Green went at Grant Williams, after he pushed him to the ground.
