When “Empire” returned for season two, the tension was stronger than ever between Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). There was enough wrong between the both of them to come along. Both played dirty to win in the eyes of their sons.
Most fans, however, seem to sympathize with Cookie over Lucious, likely due to the sacrifices she made. Regardless, Lucious always seems to have the upper hand. Because of this, Cookie and Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) take wins wherever they can get them.
Upon being released from prison, Lucious invited the family over for a peace offering dinner. Present was Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday), Jamal (Jussie Smollett), Hakeem, and Cookie. While Andre was willing to make peace, Cookie was not and she made a memorable moment when letting Lucious know how she felt.
