Exotic Cars Loved by Hip Hop: Bugatti

The most-expensive out of all the exotic cars is the Bugatti. While the other brands are fine, this is the one that currently has the rap game spinning in circles. Birdman made a major show out of purchasing one in 2011. Two years later, Ace Hood has turned the popular car into hip hop’s most-expressed word.

Ace Hood has the hottest song out right now and it is called “Bugatti.” Sure the guest appearances from Future and Rick Ross help, but it is the lifestyle of the Bugatti that have caught hip hop fans up. As is the case with the other vehicles displayed, not many hip hop fans were talking about these vehicles until they popped up in songs.

Now, everybody wants to “wake up in a new Bugatti.” The dream becomes so real, people forget about the working part involved with obtaining such high goals. But, the Bugatti has become one of hip hop’s most-owned cars. Beyonce chose to show her love to Jay-Z in buying him one in 2010 for his birthday.

Rick Ross has all of the hottest cars out, or at least he raps about having all of the hottest cars out. Of course, Rick Ross is the flagship artist of Maybach Music, but when he and Diddy come together, they are known as the Bugatti Boyz. In forming this duo, the two look to one-up the Ferrari Boyz of Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame. A lot of hype surrounds the Bugatti, with everyone in hip hop talking about them since Ace Hood spoke on the song, but he admitted he is not even a Bugatti owner… yet.

With the Bugatti costing more than most of hip hop’s current hottest figures are worth, it will take a little while for the rappers balling under $30 million to be able to safely purchase a Bugatti. But, this does not stop the music made about the car from being successful and the sales helping to put emcees in that direction. Fortunately, like his “father,” Lil Wayne is well above that class and he dropped $1 million on the 2012 Bugatti Veyron and was the first black person to do so.

Up for debate is Lil Wayne’s claims, but most fans can agree on the high-quality of excellence that is the Bugatti. Continuing from yesterday, Hip Hop Vibe has some photos of the 2013 Bugatti and rappers with their own Bugattis.

Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti VeyronThe most-popular Bugatti in hip hop is the Veyron. All of the people in the hip hop world who can afford the Bugatti have purchased the Veyron. In music videos, in lyrics, in personal vlogs, the Veyron is showcased. In Geneva, France, the 2013 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was introduced at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show.

Hip Hop and the Bugatti

Rick Ross and Diddy, the “Bugatti Boyz”

Back CameraIn 2010, Rick Ross saw a huge jump in his popularity. Until this point, Rick Ross appeared to be on the outside looking in when it came to the inner circle in the rap game. But, Rick Ross became the circle when he and Diddy seemingly became best friends. On Rick Ross’ Teflon Don album, he continued his co-sign of the Maybach brand, but he also showed support to the Aston Martin and the Bugatti. Rick Ross devoted quite a bit of attention to the Bugatti, forming the Bugatti Boyz with Diddy and introducing them on the track, “Number One,” featuring Trey Songz. While the Bugatti Boyz’ compilation project has yet to come, Rick Ross helped to usher in a new hip hop trend.

Jay-Z’s Bugatti

Bugatti Jay-Z VeyronIn celebration of turning 41, Jay-Z entered middle age in stride. With a wife eleven years younger than him, Jay-Z already had reason to celebrate, given her looks. Along with the looks, Jay-Z can look at his bank account and always smile and then realize his wife can do the same and not look at him. Beyonce showed her love for Jay-Z in 2010 and she purchased him a Bugatti Veyron for his birthday.

Birdman’s Bugatti

Bugatti Birdman VeyronAlways a leader in the game, Birdman spent $2 million early in 2011 when he purchased his Bugatti Veyron. This was during the infamous “baby money” back and forth with Jay-Z and it was after the Super Bowl debate. Confident in himself and confident in his money, Birdman purchased the Bugatti before he had even won the bet. Once the dust settled, Birdman returned to Miami and flaunted his Bugatti for all to see.

Lil Wayne’s Bugatti

Bugatti Lil WayneThough he tends to be boastful, Lil Wayne is not as bold with his words as his “father.” Perhaps the one separating factor between Lil Wayne and Jay-Z is the latter never truly shows his possessions, he simply raps about them. Back in 2011, Lil Wayne dropped $1.8 million on his own Bugatti and he claims he is the first black person to own a Bugatti. But, in his introduction video, it sounds as if Lil Wayne may have taken shots at his frequent collaborator, Rick Ross.

Ace Hood ft. Future and Rick Ross – “Bugatti”
Bugatti Ace HoodAll of the current Bugatti talk stems from Ace Hood and his energetic new single. Explaining the song is more about the feeling and less about the car, Ace Hood admitted he does not actually own a Bugatti, but is definitely a fan of the ride. Most of the fans also do not own a Bugatti, so everyone is simply able to enjoy the music and follow the trend that is the car. Ace Hood got off to a quick start in 2013 with his “Bugatti” single with Future and Rick Ross and it has made him the most-discussed rapper in the game, when it comes to vehicles.
