Fiend – “Baby”

Fiend International Jones drops video for Baby

In 1995, Fiend had his first impact on the game, dropping his debut album, I Won’t Be Denied, via local label, Big Boy Records. A couple of years later, Fiend was recruited by Master P, and he signed to No Limit Records. This is the run he is best-known for. During his time with P, Fiend became a household name. He was featured on Snoop Dogg’s single, “Woof,” which had much success.

Fiend had his time on top of the charts, with his Street Life album. Unlike the rest of the No Limit roster, he didn’t spend the bulk of his career with the label. Instead, Fiend left after Street Life, starting his own label, and then signing with Ruff Ryders for an album. Something of a journeyman, there were rumors of Fiend signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, but he’s with Curren$y’s Jet Life.

Back in May, Fiend revealed he signed with former No Limit rapper, Curren$y’s Jet Life label. On this roster, he is allowed to work as he sees fit. These days, Fiend always seems to have some kind of new music out. Recently, he returned with the release of his single, “Baby,” releasing the music video for the single.
