French Montana returns with music video for Alcatraz
French Montana was once the most promising rapper in the game. Since New York is the birthplace of hip hop, there is always an obsession on the rappers from there. In 2011, French Montana was blowing up, and looked like he would put New York City back on the map. On a daily basis, French Montana released new music during the year of 2011.
French Montana ended the year of 2011 by announcing he signed with Bad Boy Records. When French was asked why he signed with Bad Boy, he said it was because the label is in his city. However, when it was time for French Montana to drop his album, it did not come. There ended up being a two year wait on French Montana’s debut album.
French Montana initially launched his second album on the heels of his debut. However, French Montana went through several delays, before his album was cancelled. Years later, French Montana returned and delivered “Unforgettable,” which became the biggest hit of his career. Currently, French Montana is working on his new project, Mac & Cheese 5, and “Alcatraz” is the new single.
