Giannis dunks on Joel Embiid and then gets crossed up by James Harden
Last night, the Milwaukee Bucks visited the Philadelphia 76ers. The atmosphere was definitely a playoff game. Essentially, the Bucks and Sixers played for the second seed. Entering the game, the teams had identical records. Aside from that, the winner of the game would own the tiebreaker. Despite the chemistry issues, the Miami Heat are likely to remain number one. Giannis, meanwhile, is making sure that the Bucks are simply playing their best basketball.
As it currently stands, the Bucks and Sixers are likely to face off in the second round. Having home court advantage may prove to be the difference in the series. Of course, last year the Milwaukee Bucks didn’t need it. In 2021, the Bucks went down 2-0 to the Brooklyn Nets. Giannis and company would force a Game 7, which they won in Brooklyn. For James Harden, a loss to the Bucks would be his second consecutive second round playoff loss to Milwaukee.
In order to simply get the win, Giannis was doing all that he could. On offense, Giannis took Joel Embiid on early and often. Early in the game, Giannis dunked on Embiid, putting him on a poster. Of course, Giannis and Embiid almost fought at the end of the game. After the dunk, but before the end of the game, James Harden got one in on Giannis. Not only did Harden cross him up, he also scored a three pointer, and drew a foul from Antetokounmpo for the four point play.
