Until 2018, it had been a long time since the Philadelphia 76ers gave fans something to be proud of. But, that season was when “The Process” ended. The Sixers posted their best record, since 2001, and won their first playoff series, in six years, making Gillie Da Kid very proud.
Gillie Da Kid is a Philadelphia native and a beast in the rap game. He has helped more rappers than many realize become household names, in the game. Deciding to expand outside of rap, he launched his “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast, which is highly successful.
While Gillie Da Kid is a rising media personality, the Philadelphia 76ers have hit a glass ceiling. Much of that is due to Ben Simmons, who has reportedly asked for a trade. Word of this got back to Gillie, who blasted Ben Simmons, blaming him for the Sixers losing to the Hawks, in the playoffs, calling his trade demand “lightskin sh*t,” telling him to get in the gym, and suggesting he be traded back to Australia.
