Goga Bitadze gets ejected for trying to fight Gary Payton II
This season, the Indiana Pacers have struggled, but they are suddenly playing well. They just took a road win over the Golden State Warriors. Still, the Pacers haven’t lived up to expectations, this season. Last season, the Pacers got blown out in the play-in by the Wizards. The expectation was that they would build on this.
Instead, the Pacers have struggled, and now they are ready to blow it up. With the trade deadline looming, most of the Pacers’ players are on the block. Suddenly, there is no pressure, so the Pacers went into LA and beat the Lakers. Given the Lakers’ struggles, no one thought much of the Pacers’ win. When they went to San Francisco, to play the Warriors, everyone assumed Golden State would win.
However, that ended up not being the case, as the Pacers got control of the Warriors and won. In the game, the Pacers came back from an early deficit to win. The turning point of the game came when Goga Bitadze got into it with Gary Payton II. When he tried to fight him, Bitadze got ejected, and it lit a fire under the Pacers.
