A lot of criticism has been thrown the way of GBE, but there is strength in numbers. So many artists out of Chicago are either members of GBE or they have an affiliation with the controversial camp. Included in this number is SD, who is fresh off the release of his mixtape, Life of a Savage 3.
The opening words on the Trap-A-Holics-hosted mixtape are “GBE.” Enough said on that matter, SD continues the trend started by Chief Keef and Lil Reese, which is the style of the younger Chicago artists. Drill music has proven itself to be Chicago’s equivalent to the Atlanta-started trap music scene with more energy.
SD’s Life of a Savage 3 dropped last month and the mixtape features appearances from the likes of Capo, Tray Savage, Ballout, Riff Raff, Ballout, and more. All of the hottest producers on the drill/trap scene are included on the tape. In the latest episode of HHV Mixtape Recap, SD and Life of a Savage 3 were the topic.
