A lot of attention should be placed on the Chicago hip hop scene because this is one area that has a little something for everyone. Several up-and-coming stars are coming out of the city of Chicago, almost more than any other city. YP is among the many Chicago rappers coming up and he is fresh off his mixtape, Restless.
Leading up to the mixtape release, YP did a web series, “Road to Restless,” and he made his appearances on other artists’ songs. In the Midwest, YP has turned himself into one of their leading artists. With Restless, he further cemented his position in the rap game as he continues to rise.
On the latest edition of HHV Mixtape Recap, YP is the man of the hour. But, since each episode only runs close to a minute, give or take, let’s just leave it at YP was featured. In this episode, Restless is recapped, as the mixtape boasts appearances from such names as Mikkey Halsted and James Fauntleroy.
