It seems like most of the media isn’t paying attention, but there is a game-changer coming out of Mississippi. Representing Jackson, a rising vocalist named J-Wonn is taking over the internet. He has a series of music videos out, all of which have gone viral.
J-Wonn is being hailed as the future of the R&B game. A major part of the soul that made R&B has disappeared in this wave of new music, circa 2012, to the present. Much of this is what J-Wonn embodies in his music.
The Mississippi native is currently promoting “24-7,” which he dropped towards the end of 2016. For whatever reason, the masses are not paying attention to this guy, but he is the future. His “24-7” music video, however, is on Hip Hop Vibe’s radar and it is now the On The Rise Video of the Week.
