A lot of fans, online, are often critical of Big Sean, which is to be expected, as a newer artist who is co-signed by Kanye West and Jay Z. But, Big Sean really impressed people with Dark Sky Paradise. There are at least one set of people who feel it was the best album of the year.
Most fans can agree Big Sean is at his best when Jhene Aiko is with him. It was a must for Big Sean to have Jhene Aiko on Dark Sky Paradise, showing up on the track, “I Know.” The song was well-received and the visuals dropped this week.
Big Sean’s music video for “I Know” is similar to Justin Timberlake’s “Mirror,” from 2013, as it details being in love and older. This is the type of music people can grow with and it shows the growth Big Sean has experienced. Most importantly, it was the dopest thing to show up on Hip Hop Vibe this week, making it the Video of the Week.
