HHV Video of the Week: Gillie Da Kid – “Shut Up”

Today was a long day, but Hip Hop Vibe isn’t Hip Hop Vibe if Friday does not have the Video of the Week somewhere in it. This summer, Gillie Da Kid continued to dominate the streets of Philadelphia and keep himself nationally known. He released the King of Philly 3 mixtape and has a few anthems.

Gillie Da Kid scored a street anthem with the “Shut Up” track and a music video for the song came out this week. The video was very popular and it led to an Instagram campaign. Only Gillie Da Kid is able to pull off something that big and this shows the impact he has on the game.

Plenty of videos dropped this week, but when it comes down to the one with the biggest impact, Gillie Da Kid takes the title. The week on Hip Hop Vibe ends with Gillie Da Kid taking home Video of the Week with his “Shut Up” track. This summer is just heating up for Gillie.
