Congratulations to J. Cole, this man is out here winning. His third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, is his first platinum album. Next week, he will officially be certified platinum, which is the perfect way to wrap up a week where he had everybody talking.
J. Cole has put on for North Carolina in the biggest way possible for an emcee. He also took a dive into the state’s history with the “G.O.M.D.” music video. The theme of the music video definitely has everyone talking, good move for Mr. Cole.
This week, J. Cole has owned the hip hop world due to his efforts. These efforts have to be given props, because J. Cole is the only one out here making people think in this new generation. If anything else, the “G.O.M.D.” music video made people think and the impact it has makes it this week’s Video of the Week.
