The power of Chris Brown is shown every time Kid Ink comes through with another hit. Long before he teamed up with Chris, Kid Ink had a name, but it has definitely helped him. This week, Kid Ink proved he could make hits with anyone.
Since mid-2014, Fetty Wap has been making New Jersey look very good, from a hip hop standpoint. His unique style took him from mixtapes to radio to Old Navy commercials with Kelly Ripa. Some people try to be humble and downplay success, Fetty Wap simply can’t.
It was definitely a good look for Kid Ink to land Fetty Wap for his new single, “Promise,” which got video treatment this week. There were a lot of videos that dropped, but unfortunately Hip Hop Vibe missed a good number of them due to “complications.” Of what we did capture, Kid Ink and Fetty Wap got Video of the Week from us.
