Before the end of 2015, T.I. made another business move that made him partners with Jay Z, finally. Becoming the latest member of TIDAL opened it up for T.I. to do more exclusive concerts. It also provided him with a unique avenue to promote his music.
A few months ago, T.I. announced The Dime Trap as his upcoming album. The project has yet to see a release, but T.I. did roll out a new single, “Dope,” featuring Marsha Ambrosius. Dr. Dre is the producer of the record.
Earlier this week, “Dope” premiered on TIDAL and it was another major release for the much-discussed streamer. The video has made for tons of conversation, even though the only ones who saw it are subscribers of the network. Regardless, T.I. takes home the Video of the Week with “Dope” for his efforts and impact.
