It’s impossible to look at Troy Ave and not at least feel happy for the man. His attempts to bring 1990s New York hip hop back to the forefront of the game are admirable. Last year, Troy Ave dropped an independent album and this year, he is negotiating a deal to drop his next album.
Deal or no deal, Troy Ave will not let 2014 end without the release of a new album and he recently released a new single. Earlier this summer, Troy Ave released a single he calls “Good Time.” Troy Ave began the week with the release of the music video for the track, just in time for the weekend.
This week, several videos dropped, but nobody was having as good of a time as Troy Ave was. Because of this and the impact Troy Ave is having, this video is getting the honors this week. “Good Time” from Troy Ave is Hip Hop Vibe’s latest Video of the Week.
