Ice Spice previews upcoming “Gimmie A Light” single

In late April, Ice Spice announced that her second single of the year, “Gimmie A Light,” would be arriving on May 10. At the time, she previewed some of this record, as it samples Sean Paul’s 2002 “Gimme The Light” single.

Meanwhile, Ice Spice is also previewing the music video for Gimmie The Light, which will arrive right after the single’s midnight release. Here, the Bronx rapper shows off plenty of thirst traps, while riding around her hometown in New York City.

Ice Spice’s Gimmie A Light single comes after she dropped off her “Think U The S*it (Fart)” single, in late January. As a result, that went on to debut at number 37 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That record had social media on fire, as it really kicked off the sudden feud between Ice Spice and Latto.

Furthermore, Ice Spice is also expected to release her debut studio album, “Y2K,” sometime this year. This project is named after her January 1, 2000 birthday. Spice initially announced plans to put this project out, in December. She went on to confirm that it was finished, over two months ago.
