Inspired By Greatness (Q The Question’s Top Labels): No Limit Records

Trying to make history, just like Bad Boy, No Limit, Cash Money, Roc-A-Fella… now’s time for SKE. Still, that doesn’t mean that it’s illegal to look back on some of the greats who came before. A lot of people try to front like they weren’t on that No Limit bandwagon when they know they were.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Q The Question ain’t afraid to admit it he was one of the biggest No Limit fans out there (yeah, I just wrote in third person). But, Master P is inspiring, dude is a legend. Not only was No Limit a profitable company, every album the label dropped was moving units.
SKE Records might not sound like No Limit Records, but just imagine the top artist on the label selling 500,000 copies in this hip hop climate. Even the background No Limit artists were moving those numbers back in the day. So, when it comes to inspiring greatness, props to No Limit Records daily.
See the greatness that inspired us below:
Master P ft. Fiend, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, and Mystikal – “Make ‘Em Say Ugh”
Anybody who grew up in this era and doesn’t give props to this song is telling a story. When I think about No Limit Records, I think of this record because it goes hard. Master P, “Make ‘Em Say Ugh.” LOL at Shaq in the music video.
Silkk The Shocker ft. Mystikal – “It Ain’t My Fault”
This video shows how far the video editing has come. A No Limit classic right here and this song makes me wanna go pick up a Mystikal album tonight.
Silkk The Shocker ft. Master P and Mac – “He Did That”
Very inspiring record.
Master P ft. Silkk The Shocker – “Bout Dat”
Everybody credits “Bout It Bout It,” but Master P also delivered “Bout Dat” with Silkk The Shocker.
Master P – “I Miss My Homies”
Don’t say the South didn’t have depth, this is one of hip hop’s deepest songs ever.
