Jadakiss’ “Who’s Real (remix)”

Jadakiss was initially struggling to find that single to lift his third album, The Last Kiss. The album was selling fairly well, but he had no singles to represent his effort.

Being known as a rapper for the streets, Jada’s fans expected street music. What they received was a track with Ne-Yo, an auto-tune-filled Lil Wayne collaboration, and a dedication track to The Notorious B.I.G.

When “Who’s Real” hit the radio, it was a sign of a return of the old Jadakiss. The song was street with a catchy beat. It did not get much better with Swizz Beatz’ chorus and OJ Da Juiceman’s ad-libs. The video was phenominal with all of Jada’s past and present collaborators there.

It seemed to be the best that Jadakiss had been since his previous album. It felt like Jada was at his peak. Well, he has topped his best with the “Who’s Real (remix).” All of Ruff Ryders is on it and the video is great.
