Jamal Murray stops LeBron James from forcing overtime to sweep Lakers | Lakers vs. Nuggets | Game 4 | 2023 Western Conference Finals [VIDEO]

Jamal Murray stops LeBron James from tying Game 4

Jamal Murray has had huge moments in his career before, but none bigger than this one. The defensive stop he had against LeBron James, last night, was the biggest in Denver Nuggets franchise history. As a result, the Nuggets are headed to the NBA Finals for the first time. Now they are awaiting the winner of the Miami Heat-Boston Celtics series, which Miami leads 3-0.

Jamal Murray was one of the most promising guards in the NBA. However, injuries ended up keeping him off the floor for some time. The past two years have seen Murray rounding himself back into shape and he’s officially back. Last season, the Denver Nuggets were on the wrong side of history. They held on for the sixth seed, but had the Golden State Warriors in the first round, losing in five games.

Jamal Murray found himself on the right side of history in Game 4. Last night, the Nuggets were in LA with a 3-0 lead against the Lakers. As most expected, LeBron James came out swinging. Early in the game, he had the Lakers out ahead by well over 10 points. However, the Nuggets chipped away until they took the lead in the third quarter. In the end, LeBron had the ball and was determined to tie the game. A clutch defensive play from Murray put an end to that. As a result, the Nuggets are in the NBA Finals.
