Janet Jackson brings out Busta Rhymes in New York
Fans experienced a once and a lifetime moment featuring two of music’s most iconic stars. Janet Jackson who is currently on her Together Again Tour, brought out Busta Rhymes at her latest show. The duo took the Madison Square Garden stage in New York as Janet finishes out the second half of her tour. The crowd was in for a special treat as Janet and Busta Rhymes performed their 1998 single “What’s It Gonna Be.” Performing it for the first time in over twenty years, Busta Rhymes showed his love for Janet with a huge bouquet of flowers.
With a career spanning over forty years, Janet Jackson is one of the most iconic entertainers in history. Although the youngest child of the legendary Jackson Family, Janet created her own name in fame. Starring in popular shows like Good Times, Diff’rent Strokes and Fame, she transitioned to music finding international success with her third album Control released in 1986. Following up with her fourth album Rhythm Nation in 1989, Janet became one of the most influential artist of the 1980’s. To date Janet Jackson has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, winning five Grammy Awards, eleven Billboard Music Awards, eleven American Music Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2019 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, nearly eighteen years after her brother Michael Jackson was inducted.
Although the Together Again Tour is Janet’s first tour in four years, she’s still as captivating now as she was then. Wrapping up her twelfth show out of the thirty-three lined up, Janet is receiving none-stop praise from fans and celebrities alike.
