Jordan Poole gives the Warriors an injury scare
Considering all, the Golden State Warriors have done well this season. Most wrote the Warriors off as “too old,” before the season started. But, without Klay Thompson, the Warriors briefly held the NBA’s best record. If Draymond Green didn’t get hurt, the Warriors would be giving the Phoenix Suns a run for their money. Unfortunately, nagging injuries have caught the Warriors this season. After finally getting Klay back, Draymond went down, and Steph went down once Draymond returned.
The Warriors got solid contributions from guys like Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins, this season. They were the young guys who formed the core around Steph Curry and Draymond Green. When Klay Thompson made his return, the new look Warriors showed how dangerous they could be. The injuries have played a part in the Warriors’ disappointing losses to the Timberwolves and Spurs. Now the Orlando Magic can be added to that list.
With Steph Curry out, Jordan Poole has been playing in his place. The Orlando Magic game had a wild and disappointing ending, which left Klay Thompson sick. Before that, the Warriors had a much bigger scare. Jordan Poole was handling the ball, but got bumped, and landed awkwardly on his ankle. Seeing how that’s what has Steph out, the fans were briefly worried. Fortunately for Golden State, there was nothing to worry about.
