K Michelle delivers video for new single Scooch
Many overlook it, but K Michelle started the trend of getting famous on “Love & Hip Hop.” Not long after becoming a fan favorite, K Michelle signed with Atlantic Records. In 2013, K Michelle released her debut album, Rebellious Soul. The album was led by K Michelle’s hit single, “V.S.O.P.,” which dominated the late summer airwaves.
Atypical for an R&B artist, K Michelle returned with her second album a year later. K Michelle titled the album Anyone Wanna Buy A Heart? The album’s title track, “Buy A Heart,” ended up scrapped from the album. Nicki Minaj ended up with the song, which K Michelle celebrated. Years later, K Michelle cited this as a reason for her distaste of the rapper.
Currently, K Michelle is working on her sixth studio album. Titled I’m The Problem, this is K Michelle’s first album release in two years. K Michelle released All Monsters Are Human in 2020. Launching I’m The Problem, K Michelle has delivered the lead single. To kick off the weekend, K Michelle delivered “Scooch,” and the music video, to the world. Later this year, K Michelle will release I’m The Problem.
