Kanye West and Drake were once close friends. When Drake was still an emerging artist, he invested all of his money in his “Best I Ever Had” single. The song was in heavy rotation on BET and Kanye West directed the music video. Drake’s gamble paid off, as he was soon signed by Young Money, and was the hottest rising star in hip hop.

Immediately, Drake scored a huge hit in “Over,” his official debut single. The second official single, released in time for summer, was “Find Your Love.” That single was unlike anything out, at the time. The man behind the song was Kanye West. Not only did he write the song, Kanye produced it, and it became a major hit.

Unfortunately, Kanye West and Drake ended up having a falling out. After meeting with J. Prince, Kanye decided to sit down with Drake. Together, the two did the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert. At this show, they performed each other’s tracks. Kanye West shut the show down, with his performance of “Find Your Love.” This served as a reminder to people that Ye actually composed this song.
