Keke Palmer announces new album and documentary Big Boss

KeKe Palmer is having an amazing 2023. After sharing the birth of her son Leodis Andrellton Jackson with Darius Jackson in February, KeKe’s ready to get back to business. She took to social media to announce her new documentary and accompanying album Big Boss. Releasing a trailer for the film, KeKe shares details stating, “A musical narrative that chronicles my experience in the music industry.” The trailer includes never before seen footage of KeKe, including home videos, rehearsals and glimpses throughout her career.

KeKe Palmer has been a star in Hollywood since childhood. In 2006 her breakout role in Akeelah and the Bee staring opposite Angela Basset, won the hearts of people everywhere. Further building her career, she played True on the Nickelodeon show “True Jackson VP,” and many other roles within the network. Expanding her talents into music, in 2007 she released her debut solo album So Uncool. Making a transition into more adult roles, Keke stared in the VH1 biopic film Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story and Jordan Peele’s film Nope. She also won an Emmy in 2021 for her role in the Facebook watch series “Turnt Up With the Taylors.”

Last year KeKe made history with her network KeyTV, which helps content creators gain exposure. Continuing to expand her platform Big Boss will be some of her most compelling work. Although no details surrounding the album are available just yet, fans are anticipating the double release.
