Kevin Durant goes off on the ref after missing game winning shot | Bucks at Nets [VIDEO]

Kevin Durant goes off on the ref after missing game winning shot

The Brooklyn Nets were supposed to be the NBA’s best team this year. Forget everything that stopped it from happening, there’s no way Kevin Durant isn’t upset by how things turned out. Not only are the Nets in the play-in, the Nets are in a tie with the Hornets for the eighth seed. Even worse, the Hornets actually own the tiebreaker against the Nets. This is a far cry from a Brooklyn Nets team that some said could win 70 games this season. They have won 40 games.

Kevin Durant left a winning situation with the Golden State Warriors. Had KD been healthy, in the 2019 NBA Finals, he would have three championships and three Finals MVPs. Regardless, Kevin Durant would probably still leave for Brooklyn, during the offseason. A new duo with Kyrie Irving was too tempting to turn down. When James Harden was traded to the Nets, there seemed to be no stopping them. Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks changed that.

Last season, the Bucks upset the Nets in the second round of the playoffs. Then last night, the Bucks came back from a late 11 point deficit, where they rebounded to force overtime. Giannis pulled off some late game heroics to force the extra period. Kevin Durant still had the game winning shot. KD missed the perfect shot. As a result, Kevin Durant was heated, and he let the refs know all about it at the end of the game.
