Key Glock is one of the young hitters out here making some noise. Last year, Key Glock was dealt the worst case scenario. His older cousin, Young Dolph, passed away in their hometown of Memphis. Not only did Key Glock lose his cousin, but he also lost his mentor and best friend. Young Dolph gained mixtape success as a rapper. When he could not find a suitable deal, Dolph created his label, Paper Route Empire.

Key Glock was among the artists Young Dolph signed to Paper Route Empire. Young Dolph achieved levels of mixtape success and was known on the mainstream level. However, Dolph was in his mid 30s, and he was more focused on running his label. As a result, Key Glock became Young Dolph’s focus, as far as putting music out was concerned. In 2021, Young Dolph was putting music out with Key Glock to build his fan base. Originally, the plan was for Dolph to hand things over to Key Glock, and he take over.

Key Glock was handed those keys much faster than he anticipated. Considering all, Key Glock has responded well. Last year, Glock released Yellow Tape 2. After that, Key Glock dropped the deluxe edition of the project. “I Be” was one of Key Glock’s standout tracks from the project. This week, Key Glock released the official music video for the single.
