Klay Thompson would be resting for the NBA Finals if the Warriors played the whole game like they did the fourth quarter. Instead, Golden State fell behind 29 points. While the Warriors cut the lead to eight, they ran out of time. As a result, the Warriors lost 109-119 to the Mavericks. Now, the Warriors had back to San Francisco for Game 5.
Klay Thompson is just enjoying being back in the game. Prior to this season, Klay Thompson hadn’t played since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Until Klay went down, the Warriors looked like they were going to win that game. Not only did the Warriors not win that game, or the series, they went into the roughest season in franchise history.
Klay Thompson returned to a Warriors team like the one he left. The Warriors were the NBA’s best team. However, they lost ground to the Suns, Grizzlies, and briefly the Mavericks. Golden State rebounded to claim the third seed. As a result, the Warriors finished third. The playoffs have seen them beat the Nuggets and Grizzlies. Last night, the Warriors had the chance to sweep the Mavericks.
Klay Thompson led a strong rally. However, Luka Doncic did enough to get Dallas the win. After the game, Klay Thompson was seen talking a lot of junk to Luka.
