Kyrie Irving mocks Jaren Jackson for flopping against him
Last night, the Brooklyn Nets had one of their toughest tests of the season. Entering this season, many predicted the Nets and Grizzlies to be in opposite positions. Instead, the Grizzlies own the second best record in the NBA. On the other hand, the Nets have a surprisingly close battle with the Charlotte Hornets for the eighth seed. The Brooklyn Nets have struggled, all season long. Outside looking in, many blame Kyrie Irving for much of the problems. Because he wouldn’t get the vaccine, Kyrie Irving missed the entire first part of the season. Later, a compromise was reached, and Kyrie Irving has played road games. On the road, Kyrie Irving has played lights out basketball. It’s the rare situation, where the Nets having home court advantage is a disadvantage for the team.
Playing the Memphis Grizzlies, the Brooklyn Nets had few advantages. Even with Ja Morant out, the Grizzlies continue to win major games. Last night, the Nets were playing the Grizzlies and they held the lead. Towards the end of the game, the Grizzlies took control. Late in the fourth quarter, when the game was all but decided, Kyrie Irving had the ball. When he went to drive, Jaren Jackson drew contact, and he flopped. Kyrie Irving openly mocked Jackson’s flopping out of frustration.
