Kyrie Irving tells Kevin Durant he’s sorry after Trae Young hits big shot
Thus far, the Brooklyn Nets experiment hasn’t worked out. The Nets assembled a roster that consisted of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. However, the massive underperformance led to James Harden being traded to Sixers for Ben Simmons. Unfortunately, the Nets won’t have Ben Simmons available to play this season.
After coming up short, last season, the Nets had big plans this season. Early predictions had the Nets going to the NBA Finals. While the Nets may still make the Finals, it won’t be as a top seed. The Nets will not qualify for an outright playoff spot. Brooklyn will instead have to compete in the play-in, where they have lost the tiebreakers to both the Hawks and Hornets.
Last night, the Nets had a must win game against the Atlanta Hawks. Kevin Durant did what he had to do in order to get the Nets a win. Durant delivered the highest scoring game of his career, dropping 55 points. However, the Hawks were blowing the Nets out. While Kevin Durant was disgusted, the Nets did mount a comeback, but came up short. At the end, Kyrie gave KD an apology.
