The Hornets are safe for the play-in, but they will likely have to face the Atlanta Hawks. Last night, the Hornets hosted the Dallas Mavericks. During the same span of time, the Mavericks have established themselves as contenders in the West. Whatever the case, the Hornets gave the Mavericks a blowout. At one point, during the game, LaMelo Ball threw a wild pass, and it went out of bounds hitting a fan. Ball would apologize to the fan and laugh with him.
