LaMelo Ball tries to steal ball from Zach LaVine after Hornets clearly lost

Entering this season, few people thought the Chicago Bulls would do what they’ve done. During the offseason, the Bulls signed DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball. Early predictions said the Bulls might make the playoffs. However, they said the Chicago Bulls would be on the outside looking in. Predictions said the Nets, Bucks, Sixers, and Hawks would lead the East. This season, though, the Bulls have fought for the top spot in the East. The East has been overtaken by the Bulls, Heat, Sixers, and Cavaliers.

Early in the season, the Charlotte Hornets put themselves in the conversation. The Hornets got some early season wins over some good teams, including the West’s elite. This season, the Hornets got wins over the Bucks, Sixers, Grizzlies, and Warriors. However, LaMelo Ball hasn’t quite played up to expectations, but he has recently posted some huge games. This season, Miles Bridges has been the story of the Hornets’ season, while Terry Rozier has been the closer.

Last night, the Hornets took the Bulls on at home, on ESPN. The Bulls ended up beating the Hornets by twelve points, at home. As the game was essentially over, LaMelo Ball was still fighting on defense. He fought Zach LaVine for the ball with seconds left on the clock.
